Odd Jobs
turn to-dos into weirdos
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 September 2026
Odd Jobs (“the app”) is made by farazinc (“we”). This policy explains what information the app handles and why.
The short version
- Your jobs, creatures, coins and settings are stored only on your device. There is no account, and we don’t run a server that receives your data.
- The app shows ads through Google AdMob. Google may collect device and usage information to show and measure ads, as described below.
- You can export or delete everything yourself at any time.
Information stored on your device
The app saves the jobs you create, which steps and jobs you’ve completed, the toys you’ve bought, your coins, your reminder time and your sound setting. This stays in the app’s private storage on your device. We cannot see it.
- Export: the Backup → Export button creates a JSON file and opens your device’s share sheet. The file goes only where you choose to send it.
- Delete: “start fresh” on the Me screen erases all of it. Uninstalling the app also removes it.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules reminders on your device (a daily reminder, an evening streak nudge and a focus-timer alert). No notification content is sent to us or to anyone else.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows banner, full-screen and optional rewarded ads provided by Google AdMob. To serve, personalise (where allowed) and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, Google may collect information such as:
- your device’s advertising ID (Android) or IDFA (iOS, only if you allow tracking),
- your IP address and approximate location derived from it,
- device information (model, operating system, language),
- ad interactions (views, clicks).
Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), the app asks for your consent using Google’s consent tool before ads are personalised, and you can change your choice any time from Me → privacy choices. On iOS you can also turn off tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.
Google’s use of this information is covered by Google’s own policies: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your personal information.
- We don’t use analytics or crash-reporting SDKs of our own.
- We don’t collect your name, email, contacts, photos or precise location.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page and the app’s store listing.
